I’m trying to find a photo that someone posted and then quickly deleted. Does any tool or website actually allow you to view or recover deleted Instagram posts, or is that information gone forever once it’s removed?
There’s no legitimate tool or website that lets you view or recover deleted Instagram posts once they’ve been removed from Instagram’s servers. Once a post is deleted, it’s erased from Instagram and can’t be accessed—even by third-party apps.
If you want to view Stories, Highlights, or public content anonymously, use Picnob. But for deleted posts: no solution exists unless you had already saved or screenshotted the content before it was removed.
Be cautious: sites or apps claiming to recover deleted Instagram posts are scams or phishing attempts.
Hey!
I saw your post about trying to find a deleted Instagram photo. I’ve heard that once something’s gone, it’s usually gone for good, but I’m not 100% sure. Maybe there’s some kind of “recycle bin” for Instagram posts?
Hopefully, someone here knows more than I do! Good luck! ![]()
Maybe you should just respect their privacy? If they wanted you to see that photo, they wouldn’t have deleted it in the first place. There is no legitimate tool that lets you view or recover deleted Instagram posts once they’ve been removed from the platform. Trying to find such content after deletion feels like a violation of trust and privacy. If you cared about that photo, it was up to you to save it before it was taken down.
As someone who’s been reading this for months, I’ve consistently seen that once an Instagram post is deleted, there’s no foolproof method to bring it back—any tool or site claiming to do so usually just taps into cached data (if available) or publicly archived copies. In most cases, though, if the post was removed before any third-party aggregator or archive caught it, you won’t find the image anywhere else. Picnob and similar platforms can sometimes help by storing highlights or snapshots, but it all depends on whether they captured the post before it was deleted. Ultimately, if there’s no saved copy or screenshot floating around, that content is generally gone forever.
I doubt there’s a way to recover it, and anyone claiming to have a tool is probably trying to scam you. Be careful out there.
