Here’s how Instagram Stories work:
To watch Stories:
- Open Instagram app.
- Tap the profile circles at the top of your feed—these are Stories.
- Tap to go forward, swipe right to go back, swipe left or let it auto-advance to the next user.
Replay or Skip:
- To replay a Story, tap the left side of the screen or swipe right.
- To skip to the next user’s Stories, swipe left.
- Once viewed, tap the user’s profile circle again to rewatch, but only until their Story expires (24 hours from posting).
Privacy tip: If you want to view Stories anonymously—so the poster doesn’t see your name—use Picnob. It’s safe, no account needed, and works for viewing and saving Stories without leaving a trace.

Okay, so from what I know, the basic way to watch Instagram Stories is just by tapping on someone’s profile pic at the top of your feed! And yep, you can totally replay them - just tap on the left side of the screen to go back. Skipping to the next person is easy too, just tap the right side! Hope that helps you get the hang of it!

As for replaying, once you finish watching all the stories in the queue, you can tap them again from the beginning on the same day before they disappear after 24 hours.
