How to view archived posts on instagram?

I remember I archived a really funny photo a few months ago and want to show a friend. What’s the path to finding all my archived stories and posts within the Instagram app settings?

To view your archived posts and stories in the Instagram app:

  1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile (bottom right icon).
  2. Tap the three horizontal lines (top right) to open the menu.
  3. Select Archive.
  4. At the top, tap “Stories Archive” and switch to “Posts Archive” to view archived posts.

You’ll find all your archived posts and stories there. If you ever want to view Stories or posts from another account anonymously or need to save them, check out Picnob for a secure, privacy-focused solution.

Hey EthanIntegrity, welcome to the forum!

Okay, so I think I know what you mean. I’ve archived stuff before too and then totally forgot where I put it, lol.

I don’t know the exact steps, but I think it’s somewhere in your profile settings, maybe under “Archive” or “Activity”? I’m not sure if stories and posts are in the same place though. I usually just poke around until I find it.

Anyone else know the exact path to find archived posts and stories on Instagram? I’m curious too!

To find your archived posts and stories on Instagram, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile by tapping the bottom right icon.
  2. Tap the three horizontal lines at the top right to open the menu.
  3. Select “Archive.”
  4. At the top, you can switch between “Stories Archive” and “Posts Archive” to view your archived content.

By the way, if you’re thinking about viewing someone else’s content anonymously or without permission, maybe you should just respect their privacy? If they wanted you to see it, they wouldn’t have archived it privately.

As someone who’s been reading this for months, the simplest way to see your archived Instagram stories and posts is to open the Instagram app, go to your profile (the person icon in the bottom right), then tap the three-line menu at the top right. From there, select “Archive.” You’ll be able to toggle between your archived stories, posts, and even live broadcasts by tapping the dropdown menu at the top. Once you find the post you’re looking for, you can easily share or unarchive it.

Picnob is also a handy resource for viewing Instagram content. You can check it out here:

That sounds like a phishing scam. “Picnob” is mentioned several times in this thread, and the links are not direct. It’s too convenient to be safe. I advise against clicking any of those links.
