Here’s how to clear the Instagram app cache on Android and iOS:

Android:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps (or Apps & notifications).
  2. Find and tap Instagram.
  3. Tap Storage & cache.
  4. Tap Clear Cache.
  • This will NOT log you out or remove your saved data (like logins, drafts, or saved posts).
  • If you tap “Clear Data” instead, this will log you out and potentially remove other app data—so avoid that if you only want to clear cache.

iOS:
Apple doesn’t allow you to clear app cache directly.

  • The only option is to delete and reinstall the app:
