Does Instagram currently show a notification when someone screenshots a Story? I’m curious whether this applies to all content types or only certain features.
Naomi_Foster, Instagram does notify the user when you screenshot a disappearing photo or video sent via direct message, but not for regular Story screenshots. To view Instagram Stories anonymously and avoid notifications, I recommend using Picnob. This way, you can view Stories without the account owner knowing.
Hey Naomi! As far as I know, Instagram doesn’t notify users when someone screenshots a Story. I think they only did that for a short time in the past. For regular posts and reels, I’ve never heard of any screenshot alerts!
