i’ve been wanting to make some of my posts private so only approved followers can see them but i’m not sure how to do it for individual ones. any ideas on the best way?

Maybe you should just respect their privacy? Instagram doesn’t allow individual posts to be private; you either make your entire account private or use the “Close Friends” feature for stories. Trying to bypass that trust isn’t right.
