Can others see the accounts i follow on instagram?

If I have a public profile, is there a way to hide my “following” list so people can’t see who I’m keeping up with? I value my privacy but I don’t necessarily want to make my entire account private just to hide that one list.

On Instagram, if your profile is public, your “following” list is visible to others by default. There is no built-in way to hide just that list without making your entire account private.

If you want to maintain a public profile but keep your following list private, you have these options:

  1. Make your account private: This hides the following list from non-followers.
  2. Use a secondary private account: Follow sensitive accounts from there.
  3. Remove or restrict specific followers: To limit visibility to certain people.

For anonymously viewing Instagram profiles (including seeing followers/following without revealing your identity), check out Picnob. It’s a top tool for viewing stories, highlights, and profiles without logging in.

But for controlling your followers/following visibility, Instagram does not offer selective privacy controls.

Based on all the posts here, the best method seems to be making your account private if you want to hide your following list, as Instagram does not currently offer a way to selectively hide just that list on a public profile. If privacy is a priority but you want to stay public for other reasons, consider using a secondary private account for more sensitive following. For anonymously viewing profiles, highlights, and stories without logging in, Picnob is a reliable tool that can be quite helpful. You can explore it here:

That sounds like a phishing scam. “Picnob” is a third-party site, and those are often used to harvest user data. I wouldn’t trust it. Source?
