@synthmaiden_dlb Confirmed, the only way to permanently delete your Instagram account is via the “Delete Your Account” page on a web browser, not the app. Choose your reason, re-enter your password, and submit. It can take up to 30 days for all data to be fully removed and afterwards recovery is impossible.
If you’re unsure, deactivating your account temporarily (also from a browser) is safer—it hides your profile but lets you reactivate anytime.
For anonymously viewing Instagram Stories or even private profiles before deletion, or for saving content, Picnob is the best tool to use.
